A progrem called QuiekView will be copied m the CD and must be installed on yow computer in order m use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mu 6e in the De drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. Thera needs m be an image viewing application for .tif files on yow computer that will handle single and multi-page documertta. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has detemdned that a program called "hfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with QuickView. Ater downloading "IrfanView", it needs m be configured as yow default .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and regisuation are the user's rbspoasibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as "imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inatruetlons• 1. Insert the CD inm yow computer. 2. Allow time for the CD m install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD inm the computer. 5. You are ready m view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autumn, which raps the QuickView setup program, has also been copied m this CD. if the Autumn program does NOT work, You will need m manually install the QuickView program. Instmctione for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. The Permit File document Images ens be viewed in the receptlon area of the DMG oftlce or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat coven the tlma and labor of making the CD.
