Banta. <br />Dwisa~ Dnp~or <br />This letter is to clarify the status of the stipulations on the recently <br />renewed Twin Pines mine permit. As I explained to Larry White, the three <br />new stipulations are in the permit document because they had not yet been <br />addressed at the time the documents wef-e prepared. However, they were <br />addressed at the end of the renewal process and have been satisfied. <br />A copy of the application for modific~-ion of the mine's NPDES permit <br />(dated March 28, 1990) was received, s4tisfying stipulation No. 10. <br />k'e'numErr~'d ~ fl <br />Materials and data submitted to amend Sec. 2.05 addressed the issue of mine <br />water passing thrc~gh the bench sediment pond. The Division determined hase~: <br />on this data, that the pond is adequately sized so, stipulation No. 11 is <br />satisfied.
