w <br />'F <br />-34- <br />The major road construction will be the realignment and lengthening of the <br />haul/access road from County Road 237 to the portal area. The road design <br />meets regulatory requirements for vertical and horizontal alignment, cut <br />slopes, embankments, and drainage. Cut and fill slopes will be revegetated <br />upon completion of construction. The road will not be reclaimed but will <br />remain following final reclamation to provide access to the site as requested <br />by the landowner (see Appendix G of the application). <br />A shorter road (approximately 275 feet in length) will be constructed to <br />provide access for haulage of development waste from County Road 237 to the <br />waste disposal area. The waste disposal road, as designed, will also meet the <br />regulatory requirements. The road will be reclaimed coincident with final <br />reclamation of the refuse pile. <br />The proposed operation is in compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />XXII. Sealing of Drilled Holes and Underground Openings -- Rules 2.05.4 <br />99 through 102. The portals will be <br />backfilled. Also, the <br />operation does not entail steep slope mining. <br />Tite proposed operation is in compliance with the requirements of this section. <br />XXIV.
