State archaeologist -appointment -qualifications <br />The board of directors of the society is hereby authorized to and shall appoint a state archaeologist pursuant <br />t0 the prOVISIOnS Of Section 13 of article XII of the state constitution. The state archaeologist shall be the <br />head of the office of state archaeologist. He shall be a graduate of a recognized college or university with a <br />post-graduate degree in archaeology or anthropology and shall have had sufficient practical experience and <br />knowledge in archaeology to qualify for the purposes of this part 4.
