On Juiy 14, 1988 the site was monitored for flow and the field notes reveal that the site was not discharging. Therefore, the pond will be of suffici nt size to ndle a flow of up to 1 cfs from Site 7. Given the above information, and the fact that CYCC did not exceed the TSS standards during May, it is suggested that no further work be done to increase the size of Pond D. The annual spoil spring study will be able to determine if the discharge from Site 7 is increasing to the point that TSS limits could be exceeded. Also, the pond embankment has been inspected to determine if there zre any stability probiems caused by tf)e increased flow from Site 7 during May.
