Computer requirements to use the DBMS document imagirtg CD (or DVD): 1. A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and [trust be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD the first tittle. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an iatage viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing prograrm are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint' and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DBMS has detemtined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work wilt QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be conSgured as your default .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many otlter programs that work as well, such as '.Imaging Preview„ and "Irnagirtg for Windows". Ins one: Insert the CD into your computer. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the t~ttickView program Instructions for manually installing t2ltickView are available upon request with the CD ar can be viewed at www.minin¢.state.co.us.
