Base (low) flow
during the inventory period of December, 1978 to July, 1980 was measured at two
monitoring stations installed at the Deserado site. The data showed that low
flows between November and February reached a minimum of 350 cubic feet per
second on December 7, 1978. Average yearly low flow measured at the Rangely
station between 1973 to 1978 is 250 cfs. The applicant has cited Iorns et.
al. 1965b as explaining that this high sustained base flow is probably the re-
3
