A portion of Federal Lease C-123476 is in the Permit Revision
boundary, but coal from this ]ease is not included in this R2P2. The proposed operations comply with the
Mineral Leasing Act of 1920 as amended, the 43 CFR Subpart 3480 requirements for Resource Recovery and
Protection Plans, and the conditions and stipulations of the LMU; therefore we approve this R2P2 of the Lower
Wilson/South Taylor Pit. We also find that the proposed operation achieves maximum economic recovery of
the Federal coal.
This R2P2 conforms to the BLM's land use plan for the Little Snake Resource Area, and is in harmony with
the management objectives to maximize the availability of the Federal Coal estate and to facilitate orderly,
economic and environmentally sound exploration and development of the coal resource.
If you have any questions. please call Jennifer Maiolo at 970-826-5077.

J ~~/~`
~, ~~~~ ~~
ce: Tay Tonozzi.
