iii iiiiiiiiuiuiii
999
To: BinnsJOCOAL~DNRML
Cc: HernandDQCOAL~DNRML
Bcc:
From: GorhamKQCOAL~DNRML
Subject: Grassy Gap Maintenance/reclamation
Date: Friday, May 9, 1997 22:33:44 UTC
Attach:
Certify: N
Forwarded by:
I spoke with Susan McCannon today with regard to Grassy Gap. 2 told her that
a water tank and some other junk remain to be removed at the site, I asked
her whether we could ask the landowner if they would like to retain the tank.
She said that if they want it, they can have it, but would need to move it
themselves to a location of their choice. If they do not want it, we would
hire a local scrap dealer to come take the tank away, and they could have it
if they desire. Whether the scrap dealer would do this with the only
compensation being the tank is not known at this time. It may be that we
would have to use a small amount of the available funds to remove the tank
and the other junk (3 tires, culverts, and metal frame). We can look at this
in more detail when we visit on May 30. Chow.
