A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first limo. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does sot requhe a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mil ,~ be in the D: dNve. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will wntaiD files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multipago documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" ar "Paint' and they do not work widt f2uickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers. <br />does work, DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can 6e downloaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />1ZlrickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG.does not support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Inatructiona: <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />/2. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />I/ 3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called C)uickView Automn, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorua program <br />does NOT work, you will need to mamlally install the QtrickView program. <br />Instructions for manually installing Quic&View are available upon request <br />-with the CD or can be viewed at www.minina.atate.co.us. <br />The Permit Ffle document Images can be viewed fn the receptlon area of the DMG office or they can be pwchased on a CD or <br />DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat covers the tLme and Tabor of making the CD.
