Upon reviewing our files, I noticed your original permitted
surface acreage is 9,8 acres, Since we issue permits based on the total
permitted surface acreage, we will have to convert your 110 permit to a
112 permit (section 34-32-110(8)(a) of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act
of 1973). This will not increase your filing cost of S25 plus 57,50/acre on
the additional acreage, but be advised that this calculation is to be used for
your additional surface acreage, not for your additional estimated affected
acreaoe (Rule 1,T~D"2 orthe Mineral Rules and Regulations of the Coloraac~fined
Land Reclamation Board). As an example, should you wish to permit another
3.2 surface acres, your fee would be determined as follows:
(A) 3,2 acres is rounded up to the next whole acre = 4,0 acres
(B) S25 + (4 ,0 acres)(.57,50/acre) E55
This conversion will require you to supply on the enclosed 112 permit
application only that information which was not previously supplied on your
original 110 permit or which has changed from that original permit
(Rule 1,103), This should include:
Exhibit A - tJew legal description
Exhibit C -New pre-mining and mining plan maps
Exhibit D - New mining plans
Exhibit E - New reclamation plans
Exhibit F - New reclamation plan maps
Exhibits G, H, I, J -Provide confirmation that the information provided
for these items is sufficient and applicable for the new area
Exhibit K -Provide climatological data
Exhibit L - Revised reclamation costs for your entire operation,
including the new and existing areas
Exhibit M -Provide
Exhibit N - As Exhibits G, H, I, J
Exhibit 0 - Provide
Exhibit P -Provide
423 Centennial Building. 7373 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203-2273 Tel.
