Boy: 111 <br />silt. co s16s2 <br />Re: Coal Ridge No. 1 Citizen Complaint <br />Dear Mr. Corry: <br />DEC <br />AAined Lend <br />Reclamation Div;pion <br />On November 29, 1990, the Albuquerque Field Office (A FO) issued a 1'en- <br />Day Letter Co the Mined Land Reclamation Division (MLRD) regarding your <br />November 28, 1990, complaint that identified suspected violations at the <br />Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine. AFO has received MLRD's response to the Ten-Day <br />Letter. MLRD has issued Notice of Violation (NOV) C-90-062 that <br />addresses those violations identified within your complaint. AFO leas <br />found MLRD's issuance of the NOV to be appropriate action to cause the <br />violations to be corrected. AFO, however, will continue to monitor <br />MLRD's implementation of the actions that formed the basis for <br />determining its response to be appropriate. Copies of the State's <br />response and associated documents are enclosed for your review. <br />If you do not agree with the actions taken by this office concerning <br />your complaint, you have the right under 30 CFR 842.1s to request an <br />informal review of the actions taken. The request should contain <br />statements of how you may be adversely affected and wliy you feel the <br />Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement's actions merit tl~e <br />informal review. <br />Your appeal should be addressed to: Ms. Nina R. Hatfield, Assistant <br />Deputy Director, Office of Surface Mining, Department of the Interior, <br />19s1 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, 20240. <br />
