<br />PUBLIC INPUT: No public input was offered. <br />WARRANTS: Donald Warden, Director of Finance and Administration, presented the following <br />warrants for approval by the Board: <br />All Funds $503,677.33 <br />Electronic Transfers -All Funds $516.62 <br />Commissioner Webster moved to approve the warrants as presented by Mr. <br />Warden. Commissioner Hall seconded the motion, which carried unanimous~`•. <br />BIDS: OIL AND GAS BID AND ORAL AUCTION: Mr. Warden stated the only bi<; <br />- received is from New Horizon Exploration, Inc., in the amount of $10.00 per <br />mineral acre for the N'/~ of Section 14, Township 7 North, Range 64 West of the <br />6th P.M. Connie Harbert moved to accept said bid. Seconded by <br />Commissioner Kirkmeyer, the motion carried unanimously. <br />BUSINESS: <br />NEW: CONSIDER VICTIM'S ASSISTANCE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT GRANT <br />CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN: Nancy Haffner, District <br />Attorney's Office, stated this contract requires the District Attorney's Office to <br />perform the services outlined in the grant application which has already been <br />approved by the Board. Commissioner Hall moved to approve said contract and <br />authorize the Chair to sign. Seconded by Commissioner Harbert, the motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDER APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO EXTENSION <br />BOARD: Chair Baxter read the appointments and reappointment for the record. <br />Tim Croissant replaces Jim Reeman and Joe Intermill replaces Roy Wardell with <br />their terms to expire November 1, 2000; Teri Phipps replaces Jim Park with his <br />term to expire November 1, 1999; and Eric Wilkerson will be~reappointed with <br />his term to expire November 1, 2000. Commissioner Webster moved to <br />approve said appointments and reappointment. Commissioner Harbert <br />seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDER APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO PRIVATE <br />INDUSTRY COUNCIL: Chair Baxter read the appointments and reappointments <br />for the record. John Armour will replace Richard Hillman as a small business <br />representative with his term to expire December 31, 1998; Manfred Dieck wilt <br />replace Sam Leeper as a small business representative with his term to expire <br />December 31, 1998; Edward Rubadue will replace Sheila Mueller as a small <br />business representative with his term to expire December 31, 1999; and <br />Melanie George-Hernandez, Brian Lessman, B.J. Dean, Craig Fowler, and Dick <br />Wood will be reappointed with their terms to expire December 31, 2000. <br />Commissioner Harbert moved to approve said appointments and <br />reappointments.
