<br />INTRODUCTION <br />This document is the approval package prepared by the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division for the Hayden Gulch Coal Mine Permit Renewal. The <br />document contains the "Proposed Decision to Approve the Permit Revision <br />Application"; a summary describing the history of the review of the <br />application, the environment affected by the mining operation, and the mining <br />and reclamation plan; and the Division's written findings of compliance <br />required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. Detailed <br />information about the review process can be found in the Act and the <br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. All <br />Rules referenced in this document are contained within the Regulations. <br />Detailed information about the proposed mining and reclamation operation can <br />be found in the permit application on file (Permit No. C-003-80) in the public <br />record maintained by the Division and at the County Clerks Office for Routt <br />County located at 522 Lincoln Avenue, Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />
