The weed management plan is needed to assure compliance with new Rule 4.15.1(5).
As we have discussed, the Hayden Gulch Loadout permit application package (PAP) currently
includes an approved discussion on weed control (see Tab 20, Revegetation Plan). However, the
discussion lacks detail on appropriate control strategies and the timing of the planned control.
Consequently, HGTI has developed a comprehensive weed management plan that will replace the
existing approved discussion. HGTI will include the weed management plan in TR-07, which will
be submitted to CDMG by March 18, 2006.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the undersigned.
Sincerely,
Hydro-Environmental Solutions, Inc.
(on behalf of Hayden Gulch Terminal, Inc. )
Joh Weinman
Project Manager
cc: Brian Dunfee, Peabody Energy
P.O.
