The tabulated results for this survey are contained in Table I5. This area
looks good, except where some rills formed during the winter of 1996-1997 as a result of Terrace
7 over-topping from snow blockage during spring snowmelt. Old gullies in this area show no
sign of new erosion. No corrective measures are planned at this time to enable vegetation to
continue to establish along the steeper slopes in the southern area where the rills exist.
Table 15: West Ridge Block 7-8 Erosion Condition Classification
Possible
Item Score
1998
1997
1996
Soil Movement 14 3 3 3
Surface Litter 14 0 0 0
Surface Rock Fragments 14 0 0 0
Pedestalling 14 0 0 0
Flow Pattems 15 6 5 5
Rills 14 9 6 6
Gullies 15 5 3 3
Total 100 23 17 17
Erosion Condition Classification: Slight Stable Stable
Block 8-9
The erosion condition composite SSF score for this site was 7, which placed it in the
Stable erosion class. The tabulated results for this survey are contained in Table 16. The rills
noted in the previous inventory aze becoming vegetated and show no signs of recent activity. No
corrective measures are planned as a result of the inventory.

12
