. .. ~~ <br />PLBLIC NOTICE <br />Mountain Coal Company (~tCC), pursuant <br />to the provisions of sec*.ion 4.08.3 of the <br />re~uiat~ons or the Colorado ~Gned Land <br />Reclamation Board. hereby publishes the <br />following blasting schedule. The blasting <br />area is located in the ~L'1/2 of Section 1=, <br />E li4 of Section 16. W 1; 2 of Section Z^_, and <br />the E I/4 of Section ? 1. Township l3 South <br />Rance 90 West. 6`" P.I. in Crunnison <br />Counrv. There are no L-nowr structures <br />within one-half miiz of :!te blasting area. <br />Blastim_ operations may be conducted daih• <br />between sunrise and sunset during the <br />months of June through October 1997. :~11 ' <br />roads leading into the blasting area will be <br />blocked at least 10 rrunutes prior to the blast <br />by a manned vehicle having radio contact <br />with the blasting foreman to prevent the <br />entrance of livestock or unauthorized <br />personnel to the blasting area. The blast area <br />will be cleared by the blasting foreman. A <br />horn sounded intermittently for one minute <br />will be used for the blast warning signal. <br />The all clear signal will be a horn sounded <br />continuously for one minute. Blasting will <br />not be conducted at times different from <br />those announced in this notice except in <br />emergency situations where rain, lightning, <br />or other atmospheric conditions or operator <br />or pubfic safety concerns warrant <br />unscheduled blasts. The blasting notice will <br />be revised as necessary to describe isolated <br />blasting events. <br /> <br />
