As mine development proceeds to the north, the distance from existing mine ventilation fait <br />installations has increased to the point where an additional intake ventilation shaft is necessary to maintain effective <br />ventilation of active mining areas. The new ventilation shaft will be located immediately east of Fish Creek in <br />Sections 10 and 11, TSN, R86W on a low rise above the Fish Creek drainage. This will require construction of a new <br />'~. access road and associated drainage work. There will be no water body crossings. TCC is also requesting to <br />renew/extend the permit to a revised ten-year period. The shaft location and access road are shown on the site maps <br />included with this application. <br />The following attachments aze enclosed: <br />- Signed application package <br />- Two sets of mailing labels <br />-~ Check No. 001035 in the amount of $750 <br />During review of the application, please contact me at your convenience with any questions.
