A program called QuickVieav will be copied to the CD and must be instilled on your computer is order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not requite a ndw instillation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase tl~ be is the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on yourcomputc that will beadle single and multi^page dtxamtenta. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax VieweP' or "Paint" and they do not work widt QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes withpre-Windows XP computers. does work DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downtaaded from htanView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "hfanView", k needs to be configlFred as your default .tif viewer. DMG.doea not support or endorse this softwaze and the licensing end registration are the user's responsibility. Thera are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Pnvievl' end "Imaging fm Wnndows°. Iastrnctlons• 1. Insert the CD into your compntcr. 2. Allow time for the CD to instill 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computtx._ $. You are ready to view the Permit Files NOTE: A program called tZtlickView Autoroq which rues the QtFickView setup' program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autonm program does NOT work, yon will need to mamrally install the QuickView program.
