Matthews:
There have been a number of occasions in the past two or three
months where communications from the MLRB to The Rockcastle Co.
and/or its attorney, Mark L. Korb, have been confused. There
were a series of letters containing notices of proposed assess-
ment and similar related documents which were directed either to
The Rockcastle Co. or to Mr. Korb, but apparently not received
by the indicated addressees.
As you know, there is also a problem of getting mail communication
quickly from the VJestern Slope to Mr. Korb's office in Ft. Collins,
which sometimes may result in difficulties on close time limits
contained in the Colorado regulations.
Accordingly, I ask that this letter serve as a formal request that
Mr. Korb be utilized as the agent for all original communication
regarding enforcement procedures from the MLRB, and that copies of
all communications be sent to me at our office in Steamboat.
Again, I must emphasize that it is necessary that both Mr. Korb and
I receive prompt notice so that we can coordinate our efforts and
P.C.
