1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />s In fall of 1987, Greystone Development Consultants, Inc. <br />(Greystone) conducted a vegetation sampling program at Wyoming <br />r Fuel Company's (WFC) New Elk Mine near Trinidad, Colorado. <br />Cover, production, and woody plant density was measured in the <br />Willow Carr reference area and woody plant density was measured <br />in the refuse disposal area. <br />Section 2.0 of this report describes the methods that were <br />used to accomplish this work and Section 3,0 outlines the results <br />of the sampling program. <br />
