The required fees of $270 for the <br />substitute water supply plan and $60 for the well permit application have been submitted. <br />The anticipated net depletion for this plan is 12.62 acre-feet per year for the 3.3 acres <br />of lake surface exposed after December 31, 1980. According to information submitted, no <br />portion of the lake surface was exposed prior to December 31, 1980. You have provided a <br />monthly breakdown of this annual depletion totalling 10.59 acre-feel of evaporative loss, 0.63 <br />acre-feet of water in the product and a 12.5 percent (1.40 acre-feet) transit loss from Riverside <br />Reservoir to the gravel operation (25 miles). <br />The proposed source of replacement is 12.62 acre-feet of 16.0 acre-feet owned of <br />Riverside Irrigation District augmentation credits a~<rilable from any one or all of the followine <br />augmentation decrees: 88CW221, 88C\\'239, 88C\V26d, 88CW387, W-2919 Area III and/or <br />90CW 189. The replacement wafer is groundwater return (low to the South Platte River pursuant <br />to the above decrees. <br />As required by Senate Bill 89-120, this substitute water supply plan bas been provided <br />to an outside consultant for review. The consuhant has recommended approval of the plan by <br />way of this letter. Based upon statutory requirements and the reconunendations of the <br />consultant, I hereby approve the proposed substitute water supply plan in accordance with §37- <br />80-120, C.R.S. subject to the following conditions: <br />
