The following information covers the time period from October 20, 1997 -October <br />27, 1997. <br />General Construction Summary and Schedule <br />Base course placement continues on completed benches and road sections. Construction continues on the <br />main sediment ditch and chute and baffle structures adjacent to the Ventilation Facilities Site. Rough <br />grading of sediment pond SG-1 was completed and the slopes are being prepared for liner installation. <br />Alignment, excavation, and rough grading mere completed for the upgraded access road from the substation <br />to the main Sylvester Gulch crossing (F-Wall). MSE Wall A is approximately 60% complete. Excavation <br />and rough grading was completed for the Main Entrance widening. Weather was dry through Thursday, <br />October 23. Rain and snow on Friday, October 24, halted construction through the weekend. <br />Curzent Schedule <br />A gantt chart of the schedule and progress of general construction activities for the project is attached. <br />Other specific tasks of interest are as follows: <br />Upper Detention Pond <br />Ventilation Benches <br />Pond SG-1 and Culvert CCW-1 B <br />Wall E <br />Water Tank Road Extension <br />Lower Sylvester Gulch Road <br />In Progress Complete 11/07 <br /> Completed l0/17 <br />In Progress Complete 11/17 <br /> Completed 10/21 <br />Indefinite Hold <br />Begin 8/27 Complete 11/07 <br />
