Long
Division Ovectar
Earlier today you requested geologic cross-section maps of Twentymile Park. Initially I
believed these maps were public domain and could be copied to you. Upon further
investigation I found that the permittee had designated the geologic cross section maps as
"confidential" in accordance with Section 2.07.5(1)(b) of the Regulations of the Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining. The Division is unable to send you
copies of the "confidential" maps
If you should need additional information regazding Twentymile Pazk I would direct you
to speak with representatives of Twentymile Coal Co., (970) 879-3800, Mr. Rocky
Thompson, or Mr. Rick Mills. Perhaps you could obtain the information you need from
the Colorado Geologic Service, (303) 866-2611.
Copies of the mining permits aze available for public review at the Division office during
working hours. I am sorry I was not able to provide you with the information originally
requested.
Sincerely,
ane H. Binns~ ~\
Envi nmental otection Specialist
C:\jhb\C82056\PI
