<br />This will be a phase operation with the maximum disturbance being while the last half of Phase <br />2 (25± acres) is being reclaimed, the first half of Phase 3 (40± acres) is being mined, and Phase <br />IB slopes above ground water still needing to be reclaimed, Item #6 as this area will be used for <br />discharge of wash water as long as the Plant Site is in operation. As also shown on Exhibit C-2, <br />Mining Plan Map, mining is proposed in the following phases as outlined below and on the next <br />several pages. The relevant setback from any substantial man-made structures follow the Slope <br />Stability Evaluation recommendations prepared by TuttleApplegate, Inc. A copy of this Evaluation <br />is included at the rear of this submittal, and a drawing of the Typical Excavation and Reclamation <br />Plan Section is shown on Exhibit F, Reclamation Plan Map. <br />In addition, after consultation with the DMG staff, Special Excavation Setback and Other <br />Restrictions were agreed to by CAMAS. These Special Excavation Setbacks and Other <br />Restrictions are both outlined below and copied on Exhibit C-2, Mining Plan Map. <br />1. No mining shall occur within 400' of the proposed channel limits of the adopted Master <br />Plan of the S. Platte River without permission from UD&FCD on conditions of mining <br />within this 400' area. If permission from UD&FCD on mining within 400' of the <br />proposed channel limits of the adopted Master Plan of the S. Platte River is obtained, <br />mining within 100' of the existing bank along the east side of the River in Phases lA <br />and 1 B shall only occur between October of one year to March of the next year. if <br />permission is obtained from UD&FCD, a copy of said agreement shall be submitted to <br />the DMG and a Technical Revision incorporating any required flood management <br />improvements shall be submitted. If the DMG determines the existing bond amount <br />insufficient to cover the additional costs of any required flood management <br />improvements, an increase in bond amount shall be required. /tem #7-Sorenson's. Item <br />#19. and UD&FCD comments <br />2. No slurry wall installation across the PSCo. right-of--way, nor any mining within 200' <br />of the PSCo. towers shall occur without mutual execution of the license agreement <br />between CAMAS and PSCo. acceptable to the DMG., or in the event an acceptable <br />license agreement cannot be obtained, approval by the DMG of a lesser setback with <br />appropriate conditions based on a revised Slope Stability Analysis. In the event of an <br />acceptable license agreement is mutually executed, a copy of this license agreement shall <br />be submitted to the DMG. Item #7-.Sarenson's comments <br />3. No mining shall occur with 200' of the Sinclair gas pipeline without agreement on a <br />lesser setback from the Sinclair Pipeline Company, or without permission from the <br />Sinclair Pipeline Company, approval by the DMG of a lesser setback with appropriate <br />conditions based on a revised Slope Stability Analysis. In the event agreement is <br />obtained from the Sinclair Gas Pipeline Company on a lesser setback, a copy of said <br />agreement shall be submitted to the DMG.
