' Tables la, lb, lc and ld represent the salinities and SAR's of the various
sampling dates. Maps accompany these tables to show approximate sampling
' locations. Each sample represents a composite of 3 sub-samples taken in the
vicinity from 0-8". The topsoil stockpiles were divided into north and south
halves, and 6 sub-samples are included in each sample. Since electrical con-
' ductivities greater than 10 mmhos/cm and SAR's greater than 25 have been
encountered and are becoming increasingly greater in the stockpiles, it is
recommended that this area is no longer suitable for topsoil stockpiling. In
addition, very large sandstone Fragments and boulders (1.5'-6' in diameter)
' were uncovered in the area north of the topsoil stripping limit. These rocks
' effectively stopped further stockpiling operations. Some of the rock was
salvaged for rip-rap at the pond and stream transition zones.
' Specific fertilizer recommendations will be made just before revegetation
occurs.
Respectfully submitted by:
1 m~~l-~
' D.
