Ferganchick
Sibject: Earth & Stone Products Real & Personal
Property Declaration Questionnaire
Dear Ms. Ferganchick:
we are returning herewith the questionnaire you mailed
Nielsons, Inc. regarding the Pig Mesa (Gravel?) Pit. Niel-
sons, Inc. has never been associated with the Pig Mesa
operation. We do not even know where it is located.
Evidently the confusion began when Colorado Mined Land
F.eclamation Division provided the Division of Water Re-
sources of the Office of the State Engineer with a list of
permitted mining operations within the state of Colorado.
That list mistakenly showed Permit #M78168 '~Piq Mesa Pit~~ as
<I permitted operation of Nielsons, Inc. Our telephone
conversations with Mr. Larry Oebler, a Permit Specialist
with Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division have confirmed
t;he mistake and revealed, as I remember, that County of
Delta, CO was involved.
Ide suggest that you check with Delta County Roads Department
:ind Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division.
'lours very truly,
1IELSONS, INC.
Douglas L.
