<br />INTRODUCTIO'1 <br />This document is the approval package prepared by the Colorado i4ined Land <br />Reclamation Division for the renewal of Permit No. f,-81-071, held by the <br />Colorado Yampa Coal Company (CYCC) for the Eckman Park Mine Complex. The <br />document contains the "Proposed Decision to Approve", a summary <br />describing the history of the review of the permit renewal application; <br />the environment affected by the mining operation, the mining and <br />reclamation plan; and the Division's written findings of compliance <br />required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. Detailed <br />information about the review process can be found in the Act and the <br />Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal <br />Mining. All Rules referenced in this document are contained within the <br />Regulations. Detailed information about the proposed mining and <br />reclamation operation can be found in the permit revision application on <br />file (C-81-071) in the public record maintained by the Division and at <br />the County Clerks Office for Routt County located at 522 Lincoln Avenue, <br />Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />
