SECTIONFOiJR subsurtace conditions <br />siltstones aze weathered near the surface and generally grade to dense to very dense within the <br />' upper three feet. The sandstone layer that was encountered in TH-11 and TH-19 is fine grained, <br />silty, weathered, soft, easily crushed between fingers, dry to moist, gray with occasional <br />claystone lenses. <br />' 4.6 GROUNDWATER <br />'' Groundwater levels were measured on two different dates, September 23, 2005 and September <br />30, 2005, in the ten completed piezometers at Sharkey's Lake Gravel Pit. The piezometers are <br />PZ-1, PZ-4, PZ-7, PZ-10, PZ-13, PZ-16, PZ-19, PZ-22, PZ-25, and PZ-28. Groundwater was <br />'' encountered in the piezometers at depths ranging from 3.9 ft. to 8.3 ft.
