This use is not strictly mining-related, but is
consistent with the other activities at the site (e.g., mining of materials for road
maintenance). This change will not affect other permit requirements regarding mining or
reclamation plans.
Since this azea will remain as part of the permitted area, it may still be disturbed by
excavation or other mining-related activity. If this SE corner is eventually to be mined,
the storage area maybe moved elsewhere in the permit to accommodate the mining. If
that occurs, please reflect this change in your annual reports and maps.
This office approves the request for urine that corner of the Hermit area for the purposes
you describe, but with a few limitations, as explained below.
1. Any waste oil or other hydrocarbons must not exceed 100 gallons in volume, and must
be properly stored: such as within competent containers that are securely closed and
labeled, and placed inside impermeable secondary containment. All leaking containers
must be removed, all spills cleaned up promptly, and all contaminated soils removed and
disposed of properly.
2. The storage area must be monitored for noxious weed infestations, and treated as
necessary to control the weeds.
3. The materials storage area must not exceed the size that is requested and approved
(200 ft x 200 fr), unless a subsequent request is approved.
~~
~J~
Office of Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines
