Simpson, Assistant State Engineer ~ \jj,/ry
SUBJECT: Grand tdesa Coal Company Proposed Augmentation Plan, C-034-81
We have reviewed the above referenced plan for augmentation for flows lost to
senior downstream water users as a result of mine workings being flooded once
mining is completed. It appears the plan has adequate water available to
protect senior downstream users. We question how the actual amount of seepage
will be determined so that the correct amount of Granby Ditch and Reservoir
shares are released to the river.
As long as this plan for augmentation is submitted to the Water Court and
decreed, we have no problems.

Of~COGO •-----
;~~~ ~ ~90 III IIIIII III IIII III
•~*
* ~8 T6 +
OFFICE OF THE STATE ENGINEER
DIVISION OF WATER RESOURCES
HDS/JCM:ma/5004H
cc: Ralph Kelling, Div.
