A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order [o use a DMG imaging CD the <br />first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the softwaze. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purohase t be in the • dr v . A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that <br />will handle single and multi=page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" m "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DMG has determined that a program called "hfanView", which ran be downloaded from hfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your default .tif viewer. DMG does sot support or endorse this <br />software and the licensing and registration are the user's respoatibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Inatructlona• <br />Lrsert the CD into your computer. <br />~. Allow time for the CD to install. <br />~J 3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />S. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autumn, which tuns the 12t1ickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the lZuickView program. <br />hvstrucdons for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.miain¢.state.co.us. <br />The Permtt Flle document Images can be viewed In the receptlon area of the DMG office or they un be purchased on a CD or <br />DVD.
