HYDROLOGIC IMPACTS OF MINING. THIS REPORT MUST INCLUDE AN ESTIMATE OF THE <br />ELEVATIONS OF WATER W THE CALDIROLA MINE. <br />Status: Terminated <br />Submittal and approval of TR-Ol changed the requirement from quarterly to semi-annual <br />submittal of a report. Due to mine closure in August 1994, this stipulation has been <br />terminated. Monitoring within the mine is no longer possible or necessary. <br />Stinulation No. 3 <br />PRIOR TO THE USE OF MINE WATER FOR ANY MINING ACTIVITIES, TWIN PINES LIMITED <br />INVESTMENT MUST OBTAIN ALL WELL PERMITS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE STATE LAW. <br />Status: Terminated <br />Final permitting of the dewatering well was made in May 1993; therefore, with this renewal, <br />this stipulation is terminated. <br />Stinulation No. 4 <br />PRIOR TO ANY DISTURBANCE IN THE PROPOSED LEWIS GULCH FILL AREA, THE <br />APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT A PLAN WHICH IDENTIFIES A LOCATION FOR STORAGE OF THE <br />TOPSOIL REMOVED FROM THE LEWIS GULCH FILL AREA AND THE DIVISION MUST <br />APPROVE THE PLAN. THIS TOPSOIL STORAGE AREA IS TO BE PROPERLY PROTECTED <br />FROM EROSION USING ADEQUATE DITCHES, BERMS OR OTHER MEASURES. THE <br />APPLICANT MUST ALSO SUPPLY THE DIVISION WITH A PLAN TO RECLAIM THE LEWIS <br />GULCH FILL, INCLUDING A DESCRIPTION OF HOW THE STORED TOPSOIL WILL BE <br />UTILIZED DURING RECLAMATION. <br />Status: Terminated. <br />Twin Pines submitted a plan for topsoil redistribution on the highwall fill slope above the <br />portals with revised pages 81, 86, and 88. This was approved in stipulation status letter <br />dated November 6, 1984. <br />Stipulation No. 5 <br />PRIOR TO ANY RESEEDING THE APPLICANT MUST TEST THE SEED BED MATERIAL TO <br />DETERMINE THE NEED FOR SOIL AMENDMENTS IN ORDER TO INSURE REVEGETATION <br />SUCCESS. THE APPLICANT SHALL ADD THE NECESSARY MATERIALS (LQvIE AND <br />FERTILIZER) AS INDICATED BY THE TEST RESULTS. BEFORE CONDUCTING THESE SOIL <br />TESTS THE APPLICANT SHALL SUBMIT THEIR PROPOSED TEST PROGRAM TO THE DMSION <br />AND HAVE THE TESTING PROGRAM APPROVED. <br />Status: Terminated <br />The plan for reseeding was outlined with the submittal of a stipulation status letter, dated <br />May 23, 1985, which outlined the sampling procedure to the Division. The test program <br />exceeds the minimum recommendation made by the Division in a letter dated January 28, <br />3 <br />
