JULCU <br />This Deportment reviewed the Utah International Inc., I:ngineerino report <br />and Operntional Plnn, dated February, 1981 for the proposed disposal <br />of utility vast^s from the Craig Generating Station at the Trapper Ltlne <br />in Hoff at County, Colorado. <br />Tho F.ngineorinE report and Operational Plan use subnitl'ed in accordance <br />with the requirements of the Solid llaste Disposal Site: sod Facilities <br />Act, 30-20 °art 1, C.T'..5., 1973 as axeended. <br />The following items were specifically addressed in the Department's ze- <br />vievt <br />1. Site description, ln;:ludi.ng topography, eoils annlysis, local <br />geology, bore logs, surface and groundwater, precipitation and <br />runoff, nearby water wells, access routes, mining interests and <br />zoning classification. <br />'!. Facility design, including fill placerm:nt, Boil cover, side <br />slope stsbility, drainace, eec[lement, prevention of leacha[e <br />formation and migration, erosion control, floodplaln avoidance, <br />monitoring previsions, methods of dealing vi.ih mines which cay be <br />in operation on tl~e Bite, closure sod final revege[ation. <br />3.
