A program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use a DBMS imaging CD <br />the fast time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not requite a new installation of the software. <br />2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. <br />3. The CD will contain fries with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files an your computer that <br />will handle single and mold-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs are called "Windows Picture <br />and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickView. The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers <br />does work. DBMS has detetrnined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be doamlaaded from IrfanView.com, does work with <br />QuickView. After downloading "IrfanView", it needs to be configured as your defauh .tif viewer. DBMS does not support or endorse <br />this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other programs that work as well, such as <br />"Imaging Preview' and "Imaging for Windows". <br />Instractiona• <br />1. Insert the CD into your computer. <br />7, Allow time for the CD to install. <br />y3. Eject the CD from the computer. <br />4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. <br />5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. <br />NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView <br />setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program <br />does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program <br />Instmctions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request <br />with the CD or can be viewed at www.minine.state.co.us. <br />The Permit File document images can be viewed is the reception area of the DBMS office ar they can be porchased on a CD or DVD. <br />The CD/DVD purchase cost rnvers the time and labor of making the CD.
