In my review of this submittal, I have noted that Stipulations 8 and 9
are addressed in the last paragraph of revised Page 4-98a. With minor
language changes, such as including slope instability as a possible type of
failure, this paragraph could also satisfy the requirements of Stipulations 8
and 9. Please reference these stipulations for the necessary language.
In addition to these four stipulations, the Division requested on
February 18, 1986 that NC EC submit revised pages to incorporate
Stipulations 1, 3, 4, 5, and 12 into the permit.
These stipulations involve standards which have been set by the Division. No
additional work is required by NC EC to satisfy these stipulations, however the
commitments continued therein should be included in the permit volumes.
If you have any questions, please contact me at the Division.
Sincerely,
~`~
Jeffrey Deckler
Reclamation Specialist
JD/srs
Enclosure(s)
9839E
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
