The statement to that effect from Gundle
(Gundle Lining Construction Corp) dated September 20, 1994 was transmitted to you via our
letter of yesterday (December 6, 1994). In order that our activities continue to be in compliance
with the more detailed Technical Specifications, CC&V requests that the applicable specifications
be amended from 14 days to 90 days to correspond with the more conservative end of the range
given by Gundle (3-4 months).
I believe the specifications in need of amendment are those found at pages 02200.0-7, 002200.0-
14 and 02200.0-15 and [hat they read:
"3.05 FILL PLACEMENT:...
"H. Drain Cover Fill ...
"9. CONTRACTOR shall place Drain Cover Fill at a rate such that no single
area of 350,000 square feet of geomembrane liner is exposed to ultraviolet
light for more than 14 days."
