Computer regmiremmis to use the DMG document imaging CD (or DVD): I. A programr called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed oo your computer in order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mu be in the D: drive. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files on your computer that will handle single and multi-page documems. On a Windows XP computer, the defauh viewing programs are called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer^ or "Paint" and they do not work with QuickV few. The Imaging V fewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG has determined that a program caAed "lrfanV ieu^', which can be downloaded from lrfanView.com, does work with QuickV few. ARer downloading `7rfanView^, it needs to be configured as your defauk .tif viewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. There are many other progmrns that work as well, such as °]magmg Review" and "Irnaging for Windows'. Instructions• 1. Insert the CD into yore computer. Allow time for the CD to install. ~3. Eject the t~ Rom the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD inm the computer. 5. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which runs the QuickView ~ setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorun program '. does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickV few program. Instructions for manually installing QuickView are available upon request with the CD or can be viewed at www.minin¢state.co.us. The Permk Fik document images can 6e viewed in the reception area of the DMC office or they can be purchased on a CD or DVD. The CD/DVD puchase cost covers the time and tabor of making the CD.
