Control of kccess - The general mining area is <br />identified by appropriate signs on all access roads <br />desiynating it as a mining area and restricting entry to <br />authorized personnel only. The permitted area has signs <br />at all entrances reading "Blasting kreas" and explcining <br />blasting v;arr~ing and all clear signals. Further, the <br />blasting area described above is posted with signs <br />reading "Blasting Area". Tn addition to tine signs, all <br />access to the immediate drea of the shot is controlled <br />by Rine pcrsor~r~el prior to a shot. kll grads in which <br />charged holes are a'+;aiting firing will be guarded, <br />barricaded and posted or:flagged against unauthorized <br />entry. <br />4. Audible k'arninq Signals - <br />Blasting Mill be preceded by three (3) long whistles from <br />an air horn on the dragline or shovel. <br />One (1) long steady whistle aff:er the blast shall designate <br />an "a11 clear" condition. <br />5. Emergency Detonations - Safety considerations may <br />dictate detonations at times other than the above noted <br />time periods. The following conditions, as defined in <br />regulations (30 CFR 77) promulgated under the Coal hline~ <br />Health and Safety Act of 1969 and 1971 kmendments, I~iine <br />Safety and Health Acts, shall be cause for detonations <br />under c:r,ergeney conditions: <br />
