M-84-168. We request that the location of
the sediment control sump be temporarily moved east into mining area 2. The
enclosed map shows the approximate location of the proposed change.
The relocation is necessary to permit the start-up of mining operations in
April. Presently, the location shown in the approved permit is underwater.
It is anticipatd that the sump will need to be moved back to the area between
mining areas 2 and 4 at a future date, therefore, we wish to retain [he site
as a future location for the sump.
Please call me if you have any questions.
Best regards,
~~<~
H.
