Grace & Co. and H-G Coal <br />Company requesting that the Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />approve the transfer of Permit No. 77-99 to H-G from Grace, <br />and also release Grace's Bond No. 849948. The letter is <br />executed by Messrs. T.R. Fowler and G.A. Siler who have been <br />appointed as authorized agents by their respective companies <br />(see attachements). I have also attached a portion of the <br />Closing Memorandum from the Articles of Partnership which <br />gives a summary of the action taken by Grace and Hanna, and <br />shows Mr. H.R. Logan's authority, as an officer of W.R. Grace <br />& Co. and chairman for Coalgrace, to appoint Mr. T.R. Fowler <br />as agent. <br />Section 4 from the Articles of Partnership describes <br />"Management of the Partnership". <br />This information, which is understood will meet the <br />Attorney General's requirements for transfer of ownership, <br />was prepared acting upon your advice to me and also advice <br />furnished by Ms. Lynn Obernyer to Ms. Christy Murphy of <br />Davis, Graham & Stubbs, attorneys-at-law. <br />
