Goemmer's, the
proposed site for The Cuchara Association Trash Transfer Station. I've had to wait for
Mr. Henry Harnley to get the pictures taken between trips to a sick mother and a
daughter's wedding. Hopefully, they will be clear enough to you for you to know just
where we plan to locate the station. As you can see it is well away from the pit and is
sited on undisturbed ground and will be behind the dump that Goemmers have used
for (dry trash, concrete, dead trees and cable).
You are the last governmental agency with which we have to comply. We have
obtained the proper permission from the special land use (Huertano County), the State
Highway Access Dept., the State Health Dept. and an agreed to lease between J.
Goemmer and the Cuchara Association. If you feel we can be granted permission
from your department, we will move forward to get bids from suppliers for the chain-
link fence and labor to install it.[ It is essential we have SOMETHING in place by May.]
Waste Management who as given us the best bid, will put in a roll-off dumpster. The
station will be managed during the days it will be open. This will assure proper
maintenance. We will have insurance to cover the owner and Waste Management
have their own insurance.
If there is anything additional that you require, please let me know. Although I can't be
there to attend to it personally, there are many willing Cucharans that will be happy to
get for me what ever you might want.
Thank you for the attention you have given me, We, of course, are quite anxious to get
an affirmative reply from you. We'll be looking forward to hearing from you in the near
future.
Most Sincerely, j
.
Diane Broce, Cuchara Associatiorrfor Trash Transfer Station
3900 E.
