Computer requirements to use the DMG document Imaging CD (or DVD): 1. b. program called QuickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer in order to use n DMG imaging CD the first time. Future use of this ar outer imaging CD's does not require s new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase must be in the D: drive. A DVD drive wilt read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tifextension. Thera needs to be an image viewing application for .tif files an your computer that wll l handle single and multi-page documents. On a Windows XP computer, the default viewinv, programs ate called "Windows Picture and Fax V iewet" or "Paint" ¢nd they do.not work with QuickView, The Imaging Viewer that comes with pre-Windows XP computers does work. DMG fits determined that a program ~Iled "IrfanView°, which can be downloaded from IrfenView.com, does work with QuickView. After downloading "ItfanView", it needs to 6e configured as your default .tlfuiewer. DMG does not support or endorse this software and the licensing and rogistration are the user's responsibility. There ora many other pmgtems that work as wall, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Iustructions• 1. Insert the CD into your compu[Cr. 2. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. 5. Xou are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autotvn, which runs the QuickView setup program, has also bean copied W this CD. I£the Autumn program does NOT work, you will need to manually install the QuickView program. InsWctions for manually installing QuiakViaw are available upon request with the CD nr can he viewed at www.minina.state.co.us. The Permit File document images can be vlewcd in the reception area of the DMG office or they uv be purchased on a CD or DVD: The CA/DVA purchase coat covers the time and labor of making the CD.
