His assessment <br />at the time indicated that while the Pit 4 pond (Pond 4), may not be the "cause" of the <br />mudslide located immediate below the pond on the slope, it may be a contributing <br />factor in the slide. <br />Items needing repair at Grass}' Gap mine: <br />Repair either Pond 4 riser or removal of Pond 4. Lando~mer had requested that pond remain. If repair <br />can be completed adequately on pond, four we ought to try to keep it.
