This decision authorizes Castle <br />Concrete to operate under aSpecial-Use Permit to implement an enhanced reclamation plan for <br />the quarry. The layback will involve up to 26 acres of National Forest and will include <br />recontouring the disturbed areas to represent natural appearing topography and revegetation of <br />disturbed azeas to reduce erosion, mitigate visual impacts and restore biological productivity. <br />This project is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2001 and take approximately 12 yeazs to <br />complete. <br />I would like to thank those who participated in the decision making process for this project.
