A program called f2trickView will be copied to the CD and must be installed on your computer is order to use a DMG imaging CD the first time. Futt7re use of this or other imaging CD's does not require a new installation of the software. 2. The CD or DVD that you purchase mus be is the D• ve. A DVD drive will read a CD or DVD. 3. The CD will contain files with the .tif extension. There needs to be an image viewing application for .tif 51es on your computer that will handle single and muitrpage documents. Oa a Windows XP computer, the default viewing programs aro called "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" or "Paint" and they do not work with t2uickView. The Imaging Viewer that corner with pre-Windows XP computers. does work DMG has determined that a program called "IrfanView", which can be downloaded from IrfanView.co7n, does work with QuickView. Auer downloading "IrfaaView", it needs to be wnfigured as your default .tif viewer. DMG.does not support or endorse this software and die licensing and registration are the user's responsibility. Thera are many other programs that work as well, such as "Imaging Preview" and "Imaging for Windows". Inatructlons• 1. Insert the CD into your computer. Allow time for the CD to install. 3. Eject the CD from the computer. 4. Reinsert the CD into the computer. S. You are ready to view the Permit Files. NOTE: A program called QuickView Autorun, which mos the t2uickView setup program, has also been copied to this CD. If the Autorua program does NOT work, you will need to mam7ally install the f2ttickView program. Inslmctlons for manually installing QuickView are available upon request .with the CD or can be viewed at www.minin¢.state.co.77s. The Permit Flle document images can be viewed In the reception area of the DMG office or they can be purchased on s CD or DVD. The CD/DVD purchase coat covers the time and labor of making the CD.
