Your
cariplaints are being evaluated by our director of reclamation, Mark A. He ifner.
I have asked Mark to provide to you a crourtesy copy of the final design analysis
i for HR6, Snyder Quarry, CAP, dated February, 1990, prepared by Obering, Wurth
l and Associates.
I am sure that you can provide information to the lenders' counsel as to what
O you might suggest as being the appropriate solution.
As you are aware, Castle Concrete objected to the building of Cedar Heights in
the first place and pointed out there would be obvious problems with your
residential development juxtaposed on some of the finest mining property in the
D state. Unfortunately, we were not able to prevail and prevent your developnent,
1 and in particular the use of a canmon road. However, you are just going to have
to make sane accommodations. The quarry origins were almost one hundred years
before Cedar Heights. I am providing your name to Tan¢ny Akers, Esquire, and
Brenda L. Bartels, Esquire, in case they wish to get in contact with you.
I doubt, since the Resolution Trust Corporation controls the majority of those
lenders, that there will be a response prior to March 31, 1990, and may take
considerably more time, given the administrative burden that the counsels are
faced with. However, once a resolution is achieved we look forward to
continuing the working relationship we have with many of the Cedar Heights
residents .
EVANS & BRIGGS
~11C UHIGINAL UY IHIS DULlui~3-
~dAS DULY SIGNED BY.
cscott Bzigge AttarnLV 0 Dn
G.
