The Proposed Action The mining plan actions consist of a new mining plan for Federal lease COC-54608 and mining plan modifications for Federal leases C-081330 and D-052547. Specifically, the mining plan actions proposed by TCC consist of: (1) Underground mining of the Wadge coal seam in the following areas that are depicted in Map 23 of the permit revision application: a) Longwall panels 7 Right, 8 Right, and 9 Right b) Development mining of all of gateroads 5 Right through 10 Right c) Mains extending NW from the present northern extent of the North mains approximately 8300 feet d) Development mining of 1000 feet of gateroads 2 Right, 3 Right and 4 Right • e) Development mining of submains associated with gateroads 2 Right, 3 Right and 4 Right NOTE: Portions of mining operations a), b), d) and e) lie in the previously approved mining plan areas for Federal leases C-081330 and D-052547. (2) Surface activities consisting of borehole ponds and dewater ponds located on approximately 8 acres of land depicted on Map 17 of the permit revision application.
