Prior to the transport of any roof fall or other waste material produced <br />at the McClane Canyon Mine to the proposed Munger Canyon disposal site, <br />the Regulatory Authority must approve the proposed Munger Canyon site for <br />use as a waste disposal site. <br />2. The following are stipulated for surface water monitoring: <br />Special Stipulations <br />a) Flow measurements must be taken at surface water monitoring <br />site SW-2 and water quality samples must be taken from sites <br />SW-2 and SW-5 on McClane Canyon twice a year as follows: <br />i) Once during spring snowmelt <br />ii) Once during a storm event <br />b) Flow measurements must be taken quarterly at Site SW-1 and <br />water quality samples must be taken quarterly from sites SW-1 <br />and the new monitoring site an East Salt Creek (which must be <br />located on a map with a specific designation and must be ap- <br />proved by the Regulatory Authority. <br /> <br />c) The water samples must be chemically analyzed for the parame- <br />ters specified below: <br />pH <br />Sodium Absorption <br />Ratio <br />Lead (Pb) <br />Specific Conductance <br />Temperature (field) <br />Dissolved Oxygen (field} <br />Total Suspended Solids <br />Total Dissolved Solids <br />Total Combustible Solids <br />Total Hardness <br />Bicarbonate(HC03) <br />Calcium(Ca+ } <br />Magnesium(Mg+2) <br />Sodium(NA+) <br />Sulfate(SOq) <br />Aluminum(A1) <br />Arsenic (As) <br />Boron(B) <br />Cadmium(Cd) <br />Copper(Cu) <br />Iron(Fe) <br />Manganese (Mn) <br />Mercury(Hg) <br />Molybdenum(Mo) <br />Selenium(Se) <br />Zinc(Zn) <br />d) The results of all monitoring must be submitted to the <br />Regulatory Authority immediately after data collection Q~ aNSly. <br /> <br />3. The permittee must submit to the Regulatory Authority an annual report <br />characterizing the inflows, discharges and the consumption of water <br />within the mine. This report is to inc]ude a mine workings map showing <br />the locations and quantity of inflows; a table keyed to the mine map <br />which shall contain the source (i.e. fault, fractures, etc.), quantity, <br />duration,and quality (i.e. pH, electro-conductivity and temperature) of <br />all non-seep inflows; a taole containing records ~f water discharged from <br />the mine, consumed in *_he mine and imported 'cr cse '.Jtthin ±he mine; a <br />discussion of the water baTanca within the nine; and, a crljection of <br />iydroloaic 'moat=s of ~^inina in ;he ~ccomina year. <br />
