The tabulated results for this survey are contained in Table 15. This area
looks good, except where some rills formed as a result of Terrace 7over-topping from snow
blockage during spring snowmelt. O]d gullies in this area show no sign of new erosion.
Corrective measures for this azea will include repairing the rill areas and reseeding.
Table 15: West Ridge Block 7-8 Erosion Condition Classification
Possible
Item Score 1997 1996
Soil Movement 14 3 3
Surface Litter 14 0 0
Surface Rock Fragments 14 0 0
Pedestalling 14 0 0
Flow Patterns 15 5 5
Rills 14 6 6
Gullies 15 3 3
Total 100 17 17
Erosion Condition Classification: Stable Stable
Block 8-9
The erosion condition composite SSF score for this site was 19, which placed it in the
Stable erosion class. The tabulated results for this survey are contained in Table 16. This area
shows rills in the newly seeded area at the south end. The old gullies show little sign of new
erosion. No corrective measures aze planned for this azea at this time due to the limited extent of
the rills.
